Accessibility Statement

General

Carel Group (the "Group") attaches the highest importance to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all of its clients, including people with disabilities, and acts in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.

The Group invests considerable resources in making its website and digital services accessible, in the belief that every person deserves the right to live in equality, dignity, comfort and independence.

Level of Accessibility

This website has been made accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 at Level AA, and with Israeli Standard IS 5568 "Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility". The site has been tested on common browsers and on mobile devices.

Accessibility Features on the Site

• A built-in accessibility widget available on every page of the site (the round button in the corner of the screen), allowing: increasing and decreasing font size, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting and a readable font.
• The site can be navigated by keyboard, including closing dialogs and menus using the Escape key.
• Images on the site have alternative text (alt) for assistive technologies and screen readers.
• Page structure is semantic and hierarchical, with ordered headings and ARIA markup where required.
• The site respects the user's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion) and limits animations accordingly.
• Videos on the site are muted by default and do not play in a manner that interferes with use.
• Forms on the site include clear labels and support keyboard navigation.

Accessibility Limitations

Despite our efforts to make all pages of the site accessible, parts or capabilities that are not yet fully accessible may be found, including content embedded from third parties (such as external video players and scanned press clippings). We are continuing our efforts to improve the accessibility of the site as part of our commitment to enabling its use by the entire population. If you encounter a difficulty, we would be glad if you would inform us, and we will act to correct it as soon as possible.
